Job Description
As a Backend Development Intern, you’ll play a critical role in building and maintaining our platform's server-side applications and APIs. Your work will involve creating secure mechanisms for interactions with the IOTA Tangle and designing scalable database architectures that support dynamic card functionalities. You’ll collaborate closely with frontend and blockchain teams to deliver a seamless experience for users. This position offers an opportunity to deepen your expertise in technologies like Node.js, Python, and decentralized systems.
Please Note: This is a non-compensated educational experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop server-side logic to handle IOTA Tangle interactions
- Design and manage scalable databases for card data storage.
- Build secure APIs for frontend-backend communication.
- Integrate blockchain functionality with the platform’s backend architecture.
- Monitor and improve system performance and scalability.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of related experience
- Experience with backend frameworks (Node.js, Django, etc.).
- Knowledge of API development and database management (SQL/NoSQL).
- Familiarity with server security and scaling practices.
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Other majors and graduated students are encouraged to apply.
- Basic understanding of backend programming.
- Familiarity with database concepts.
- Familiarity with cryptographic principles and tokenization.
